Xaver Hopfenspirger is responsible for business development of thermal management applications at BASF SE. He studied plastics engineering at University of Applied Sciences Rosenheim ant University of Lowell, MA. He joined BASF in 1990, where he went through different positions in the field of plastics in the automotive industry. As engineer he has a long and vast experience of plastics in simulation, processing and part development for the automotive industry.
Stephan Revidat is a Senior Engineer with multi-project experience in non-standard projects, research activities and advanced development projects. Herein experience from project planning and execution as well as defined specialized tasks such as simulation, design, prototyping, testing and evaluation. Also active within fields of University research activities, conference speeches and abstracts - All leading to a PhD Thesis (currently at University for examination). Besides, registered as an Inventor in over 40 patent office registrations worldwide.
He is a member of the EUCAR expert group for batteries.
With an almost two-decade-long experience at LG group where he worked across different roles in energy storage, automotive, and electronics, Keon is currently leading two groups of experts. The first group is the team of battery experts. Henkel’s next-generation battery solutions related to safety, sustainability, new designs and chemistry are identified and initiated by this team. The second one is accelerating customers’ innovation with its capability on advanced mechanical testing, material modelling and simulation, battery simulation for mechanical and thermal performance, digital solutions based on big data analysis and prediction. Keon holds a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from KAIST and conducted postdoctoral research at Cornell University for his scientific career: He also holds MSc in executive MBA from Lancaster University.
