Nico Eigen is Head of Product Technology and Technical Customer Service for Heat Exchangers at Speira GmbH. With more than 15 years of experience in the aluminium industry, he has built deep expertise in product development, technical customer support, and innovation for heat exchanger applications. Before joining Speira, he held several leadership roles at Hydro Aluminium Rolled Products, where he focused on advancing aluminium solutions for automotive and industrial applications. Based in Hamburg, Nico is dedicated to driving technological progress and supporting customers with sustainable, high-performance aluminium products for the future of mobility and energy.

Speira is a European aluminium rolling and recycling company with eleven production and recycling sites in Germany and Norway, as well as its own research and development facilities. The company recycles up to 650,000 tons of aluminium annually and produces around one million tons of rolled products. Its operations include Alunorf, the world’s largest aluminium rolling mill, and Grevenbroich, the world’s largest refining plant.
