Francesco Pase is the AI Lead at Newtwen, driving the company’s R&D efforts to design and develop innovative, powerful, and reliable AI solutions for the industry. He completed his master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering in 2019 between the University of Padua and EPFL (Lausanne, CH) and later pursued a PhD in information theory and machine learning. His research focused on the role of information in efficiently designing distributed AI systems. Francesco has also gained valuable research experience through internships at Giotto.ai (Lausanne, CH), InstaDeep (London, UK), and Nokia Bell Labs (Cambridge, UK), where he worked on graph theory, decision-making systems, and distributed AI. Beyond his academic contributions, he has co-authored three patents in collaboration with Nokia Bell Labs and Huawei Technologies
