Francesco Toso was born in Florence and is the CEO & Co-Founder of NEWTWEN, a pioneering start-up founded in Padova in 2020. NEWTWEN develops cutting-edge software that creates real-time embedded virtual sensing solutions for model predictive control and diagnostics of electromechanical systems, enhancing efficiency and performance. Francesco earned his degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Padova in 2020, followed by a PhD in Industrial Engineering, where he specialized in electrical drives and model predictive control applied to power electronics. In 2021, he expanded his expertise by completing an executive MBA in business innovation at the Business School of Trieste. With a strong technical foundation and a strategic business mindset, Francesco combines innovation with execution, transforming complex engineering challenges into market-ready solutions. His leadership at NEWTWEN is driven by a passion for bridging academia and industry, pushing the boundaries of real-time embedded technology.
